Library Mail

Library Mail is the most economical delivery service and intended primarily to serve libraries, museums, universities, schools, nonprofits, and similar organizations mailing books on loan to one another. Library Mail can be used by University departments for certain other limited educational materials such as films, recording tapes and other prescribed audio-visual materials, museum and herbarium materials. Packages sent via Library Mail can weigh up to 70 Lbs. and will be delivered to the destination within the U.S in 7-10 business days. Each piece must be marked "Library Mail".

It’s necessary to indicate a return address or address of a school or nonprofit organization if you use Library Mail delivery. Library Mail mailings cannot contain any advertising – it’s the main restriction for this type of delivery.

Library Mail Pricing rates are very low. The first pound will cost you only $2.6 and each additional pound will cost about $0.5. For example you’ll pay only $5.65 for 5lbs. parcel delivery and $7.26 for 10lbs. package delivery etc. Use online calculator to estimate exact shipping cost of your packages.

There are also several services offered for Library Mail, including insurance, USPS Tracking, Signature Confirmation, COD, return receipt and restricted delivery that can be purchased at VIPparcel.
