They even came up with an awesome television ad "If it fits it ships" for both domestic and international priority mails. Priority mail is the postal service's 2-3 business day delivery service to most US cities and 6-10 business days for international. The price is the same regardless of the weight and destination. Delivery time is not guaranteed, however they meet that commitment over 97% of the time.

Small, Size: 8 5/8" x 5 3/8" x 1 5/8", price: $5.20, good for mailing brochures, small electronics, and jewelry
Medium, Size: 11" x 8 1/2" x 5 1/2",: $10.95, for office supplies, computer hardware, and shoes
Medium, Size: 13 5/8" x 11 7/8" x 3 3/8", also $10.95, good to mail avionics equipment, clothing, and computer components
Large, Size: 12" x 12" x 5 1/2", price: $14.95 for domestic mail, $12.95 for military, outstanding for mailing laptop computers, small conventional oven, and or military care package
Priority mail flat rate envelopes and boxes as outlined above comes in various sizes and uses. They can be used to mail both domestic and international mail. The weight and destination of the package is not considered. (20 pounds weight limit for international priority mail package).
